The Prima is Bodegon Cabinet’s latest furniture creation and explores the limits of circular geometry. It was designed using two circles for the seat and the back of the chair, and a tubular structure that brings everything together.
The Prima, designed by Bodegon Cabinet, follows La Redonda’s example by changing its scale and adjusting it to new scenarios. It’s a minimalistic take on a circle, here used for the seat as well as for the back.

Bodegon Cabinet
We were eager to begin collaborating with Bodegón Cabinet when we first discovered this multidisciplinary studio based in Barcelona that’s focused on architecture and furniture design. Bodegón is Spanish for “still life” and reflects the idea that natural or handcrafted objects are thoughtfully placed within a defined space, using design, color and light to create harmony, and a feeling of comfort or well-being. Both the Prima and Redonda chairs, two pieces with clean, geometric lines, were born from this idea.
