Ceramic side table.
This small ceramic coffee table is entirely handcrafted. Its geometric and sleek design, directly inspired by mooring bollards, make it a sculpture in its own right.
Each piece is unique since it is entirely handcrafted in the artist’s studio.
The three legs of the MOOR table come together to form the table top.
Their massive shape is inspired by mooring bollards used to secure boats to the dock, which lift off the ground thanks to their rounded shape.
We fell in love with this collection of small MOOR furniture developed by artist Lisa Allegra. Designed as part of a collection, each Lisa Allegra piece is unique since it is handcrafted. For the designer, the earth is a contrasting material that is both child’s play and ancestral material, accessible and unmanageable, which adapts to the infinitely small and infinitely large object (from the pearl to the frame). A flexible material with a tense appearance, a hard object with a soft appearance, the earth allows her to explore the themes of contrast and balance that have always been present in her practice of object design and scenography.

Lisa Allegra
Imagined as part of a larger collection, each handmade piece by Lisa Allegra is unique. For the artist, clay is a multi-faceted material that evokes both childhood games and ancestral traditions, one that’s simultaneously accessible and impossible to master, that adapts to both infinitely small and infinitely large objects (from clay beads to buildings made from clay). A flexible yet taut material that results in a hard object with a soft appearance – working with clay allows her to explore contrast and balance, two themes that are always present in her object design and scenography work.
