Let yourself be charmed by this beautiful vase with an organic form, right in time for the warm weather! It’s the perfect vessel for your bouquets of fresh or dried flowers, and will add a touch of originality to your space.
This piece was made entirely by hand over many hours, modeled using the coiling technique.
Once crafted, grooves are added to the vase, which is then glazed. Each piece is unique.
This vase was designed to be a sculptural piece with an earthy and poetic feel. The curved, organic and generous shapes reveal imperfections and irregularities. The piece is inspired by the grooves in the trees you might come across while walking through the forest where the artist lives, in the Ardèche department of France.
We immediately fell in love with Lucile’s work: her earth-toned creations are unique and organic. Starting with a piece of raw clay in hand, she begins the shaping process with a series of simple, fundamental gestures inspired by ancestral techniques. Imperfection, irregularity and asymmetry are at the heart of her work, as she seeks a singular and spontaneous sense of beauty, one that’s primitive yet delicate. She creates sculptural, unadorned objects that will breathe a little poetry into your daily routine.
