A wall light to give a subdued atmosphere to your home.
This washi paper wall lamp set with a steel ring will warm up your home. This wall lamp with a sleek design will create a subdued atmosphere and will fit into any interior.
These lights are handmade from Japanese washi paper (which is made in Japan using traditional methods): the paper strips are cut and then assembled by hand to create special patterns and laminated on polyphane and strapping metal matt black epoxy paint.
A simple, geometric and refined form that dresses your walls.
Washi paper handcrafted in Japan associated with its metal structure echoes the famous designs of Japanese artist Isamu Noguchi who strongly influenced design in the 1950s.
Behind Les Ecoliers Design Studio are Domitille and Louis, two architects and object designers. The search for simplicity, the development of the material and craftsmanship guide their creation of everyday objects. They created a collection of table lamps and sconces with clean lines that immediately seduced us. They work with Washi paper (handcrafted in Japan) which they associate with a metal structure. This association made us think of the famous lighting fixtures created by Japanese artist Isamu Noguchi who strongly influenced design in the 1950s.
