You’re already familiar with the sandstone Wandlamp from our Totem collection - meet its glass counterpart!
A magnificent light sculpture composed of layered pieces of glass and sandstone that have been modeled by hand.
A light sculpture made from a thin veil of porcelain and undulating glass. The ripples in the porcelain are produced by the imprint of my hands and those in the glass by the imprint of the porcelain. An eternal tempo that creates a dialogue between the two materials. Each imprint is unique, each ripple is distinctive, each light fixture is exceptional. The clay is hand-sculpted and the glass is cut by hand – each piece is unique.
More than a light fixture, this piece is a true luminous sculpture that will dress up the walls of your space. We rediscovered in these light fixtures what attracted us to Amandine’s work in the first place: her sensibility for irregularities and the Japanese concept of wabi-sabi. Amandine works without a wheel and shapes her creations by hand, making each piece truly unique. This approach, in addition to her work with experimental glazes, is an endless source of inspiration and creativity for her. Her patience and delicate touch are apparent in everything she makes.

We came across Amandine’s ceramics on Instagram when we first launched Folks. We wasted no time visiting her studio in Paris in order to discover her beautiful pieces in person. Her sensibility for irregularities and the Japanese concept of wabi-sabi immediately won us over.
