Each piece is modeled entirely by hand, without a mold or a wheel, making each model totally unique. The “leather” vase comes in black sandstone with enameling created to ressemble leather.
We discovered Mathilde’s work and universe while strolling through social media and fell in love immediately. She models all her pieces entirely by hand (without the use of a wheel) and gives life to pieces that sit on the border between sculpture and everyday object. After a first collection of sculptural vases, Mathilde has now created a collection of tableware exclusively for Folks: plates, a tray and small salad bowls, all uniquely textured.
