This carafe made exclusively for Folks combines a graphic design while letting the vagaries of craftsmanship shine through. A piece to embellish your table or simply to display!
The carafes are handcrafted in glass workshops in Spain. Each piece is therefore unique and slight differences may appear from one piece to another.
For these carafes, the artist was inspired by glasses from the Wiener Werkstätte (Viennese Workshops), an Austrian movement from the beginning of the 20th century. The Wiener Werkstätte was founded in 1903 by Josef Hoffmann, Koloman Moser and Fritz Waerndorfer, and modeled on the English Arts and Crafts movement. In this context of the advent of modern art, it was a question of creating objects with a stripped down and functional style.
We fell in love with Sophie Lou’s colorful and joyful glass creations, and quickly decided to collaborate with her to create pieces bringing together our world and hers. From this collaboration was born a carafe with sleek and graphic lines
