Lea Baldassari
Paris, France
After changing careers to become a ceramicist, Léa Baldassari now handcrafts everyday objects in her small studio in Paris.
Léa uses various hand building techniques, including pinching, slab building and coiling, working with a variety of different clays, ranging from smooth clay to grog.
The artist tries to give her creations an earthy appearance, so they maintain an organic feel. She takes a slow design and environmentally conscious approach to all of her work.
