Atelier Sauvage is a studio run by Albane Salmon, who creates solid wood objects that are a cross between sculpture and furniture. We fell in love with this artist’s work during Folks’ early days. She approaches woodworking like a sculptor or a potter would clay, favoring pure and organic forms, which she draws and shapes freehand. Heavily influenced by nature, Atelier Sauvage’s work emphasizes the organic qualities of wood through subtle plays of color and material effects.
